Have you been keeping a steady sleep schedule lately - before the insomnia that is?

I have phases like that.. Like last night i slept maybe 2 hours, and BING wide awake.. im sure itll be the same tonight sadly..

Then magicly ill be fine and will be able to sleep just great the next 3 days.. then back to not being able to sleep.
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

I've had some on and off spells of it. Exercise would sometimes make it worse.

In all fairness though to Don, it would help for regular folks, but for people that suffer from the real deal, it's not any help.

Usually, when i do math - i have phases, they last one week most of the time, when i'm very active, mathematically - it keeps me up until ~05:00. I get up, turn the light on, make a few notes, all night long. It's a bit annoying, still fun though :icon14:

But I've never experiences serious insomia - except one time while I was learning for my final school test.

On a funny sidenote: Sometimes, if i work until ~01:00 and then try to sleep, i get to some hypercreative state where i begin hearing voices. Then, I'm usually able to form immages, structures and even music in my head. Crazy, isn't it?

Do you like... study math or something? What you're describing sounds like my nightmares.

And yeah, I haven't slept before my Abi either. Didn't hurt my grades though.

I get the same thing when I'm up late working or playing on the PC.
Something about a computer or monitor just gets your brain going 100 mph, and it takes a little while to wind back down.

Not particularly. But then again, I never do. I usually just go to bed when I'm tired. If i'm not tired, I know I won't sleep.

Was up Thursday and Friday until about 9am before going to sleep.
About 5am on Saturday (after drinking mind you)
Though I didn't sleep at all Monday to get my sleep pattern back for the evening, however practically been awake ever since.
Getting yourself on a regular sleep schedule is probably the first thing a doctor will tell you to do if you go in. It really does make a difference man.
And don't use your bed for anything but sleep (and sex) - like don't lay in it and read or anything. Keep the bed associated with sleeping.

yeah :) - well... you either like maths or not.
i'll start visiting uni (in freiburg) mid-october. maths as main course, informatics as secondary (or maybe physics? i don't know yet)

as for grades: funny thing is that the course i practiced the most for was actually my weakest one in the exams - i learned like 3 weeks and only got 7/15 points. for maths and ethics i learned 2 days each and got 14/15 in both cases :dork:
