dunno if it's of any comfort but depending on your health and stuf you can loose quite a lot of liver (up to 2/3) and you wont die of losing a few lymph-nodes either. So you is not quite dead yet.
Only tip i can give you is to contact a (good) patient group (like armstrong's livestrong) They can help you on the motivation part.

Anyways although i'm not religious or sommut, It won't stop me praying for you

I don't know the extent of this but you take
things as they come to you. Your photography
is some amazing stuff and you obviously
use it to get away.

Best wishes to you!

I'm sorry to hear it Teriba.
A different family member has had to go through chemo nearly every year for the last couple of years, and thankfully all came out of it completely, even when they were told there wasnt a hope.
So dont give up just yet.

First dibs on his cameras.

I thought that when a cancer got into your lymph nodes the outcome wasn't very good....

GL man.... It seems like a lot of people around me are coming down with cancer.

I hope you make it through.

Best of luck. The good news is that Hodgkin's has a high remission rate and treatment rate. But I'm sure it's still no party to live with.
Hope you get well quickly.

Out of curiosity, do you know what specific type of lymphoma it is? And what treatments are you undergoing?

I had large B cell non-hodgkins lymphoma. It's one of the more aggressive types, but I came out ok. Take it from me, it's not nearly as bad as you might think it is when going through the treatment.

Even though I'm 3 and a half years out of treatment I still get those damn scans. They can be so boring.

Also for those that don't know, they don't remove this type of cancer with a knife, it's all done through chemo and radiation (sometimes no radiation at all). This is a very curable cancer now days, but about 10 years back it was one of the most deadly (both hodgkins and non-hodgkins types). My oncologist told me that the hodgkins treatments can be a little more easy to go through for most people. Hope that it's true for you.

:( GL
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Thanks so much everybody. It's Stage 4 nodular sclerosing Hodgkins lymphoma. Seems like there is about an 80% survival rate, so that's not too bad.

Not too bad? Good thing you look at it with a "glass half full" mentality then. I would freak. :tear:

Get well! :(

That sucks, man. Cancer is one of my biggest fears, it scares me absolutely shitless. You seem to be handling it well though. Good luck - I hope you get through it.
