anyone watch this? (it's called MI5 in the US i think)

it's really gone downhill, mostly since they killed off all the original characters, and become completely unconvincing. shining dawn??

somehow i doubt the world of intelligence-gathering is quite that exciting.

The series ended when the guy was trapped in his house with a suitcase bomb.
There is no new spooks series.

It has gone downhill. Also I know that working for MI5 is nowhere near that exciting because I have a mate who works there.

It's mainly just intelligence gathering. The real covert spy work is done by MI6 (who don't exist)

The entire program took a dive when they fired Tom, exiled Zoe and put a bullet in Danny's head. I haven't bothered to try downloading the current series (because I'm not watching the Americanized version...)

how has it been americanised (apart from the title change)?

I only saw the first series, with the cliffhanger ending. I watched the first episode of the second series and then kinda forgot all about it.

Fantastic series the first was, mostly because of that first episode... That poor woman with the chips...
