IM GOING TO FUCKING KILL GOOGLE

Google paid Lee a $US2.5 million signing bonus and promised a $US1.5 million bonus after one year, plus a $US250,000 salary and options on 10,000 shares of Google stock, according to court documents.

If he stays for four years, Lee also will receive another 20,000 Google shares, currently worth $US5.8 million.

Lee also demanded that Google pay all his legal fees if Microsoft sued, a request that was granted.

This shows me something, google isnt going to be pushed out of its goals by anyone and this lil sparing match with MS is going to be a warm up for the battles to come. In short this shows me google plans to stick around for a while. This shows me i should pick up some google stock, seriously.

There is much more then a google OS coming. Keep your eyes open from now on. But as far as a google OS, easily. Unix/Linux base. Easy to use, inventive and intutive interface that couples technologies like firefox and open office with one of the fastest and most advanced searching algorithims. I really thing that if they went for it, with the backround they have, they could have one hell of a stable and fast OS. It would be like a mac that didnt suck.

Seriously though, just think if OSX was offered in a easy to get medium and was availble on all hardware so that running a mac was as cost effective as winxp. Developers ++ apps ++ market share ++ If google and pull some teams together, linux/mozilla/google desktop manager.... they could be a real threat. MS is going the wrong direction with this activation and validation stuff i think, consider GoogleOS offered as a open source OS supported by donations and mild liscencing fee's for software. Google comes up to like SuSe and wispers in its ear a idea.... interesting stuff.

Its exciting to think about. Not that im claiming thateverything in that paragraph is all going to happen, but the possabilities are fun.

what amazes me is how google actually makes money.

its just unbelievable that ad revenue is that high. my uninformed guess is that they're in for a rude awakening sooner or later.
