Also, Steve Thomas has accepted the Leafs' invitation to attend training camp on a tryout basis. He will be attempting to play for the Toronto team for a third time in his career. Thomas told sportsnet.ca, "My intention is to eventually sign a contract and play this season for the Toronto Maple Leafs."
