I dunno, some pics of the monsters look bang on, and I mean straight out of the game... Yet some others just look *odd*

I think they went the Resident Evil 1 movie road, where they will have the big baddie (Not he cyber demon, but a hell knight), only he will mutate slowly over the source of the movie...

I've seen a few pics of the "hell knight" and each one looks different, but the same. Like a slow progression from a random creature into a real decent looking hellknight. And the final version looks amazing.

This films really turned my head around on what they were trying to do. It WILL still be a brainless fragfest, but then again, this is doom, what more do you want...?

Its not like if it comes out and suck i'm going to lose sleep over it. Its just such a simple thing to get something looking the same, and so many people fuck up on it. Its crazy.

nah but i went in to see the movie exactly what i wanted it for

mindless action without to much worry of keeping an eye on the storyline

AvP was ok IMO. Could have been much better with another storyline, a bigger budget and a more competent director though.

The scenes from a FPS perspective are totally cheesy. My girlfriend brought up the good point that that's what I'm looking at every time I play, but it just looks stupid in a movie. Anyone else think so?
