Playing with my new toy... remixes

Post by Giraffe }{unter »

I finally got a few hours of free time to Play with my SL-DZ1200 what I usually do is record everything and when I find things I like I work on those until it's molded into something I like.

I started with a CD I had sitting on my desk old school for the early 90's just to test the functions like sampling, effects, looping etc. Then I started digging the outcome. I may or may not finish the song, but I wanted to share.

I think the beginning is a little long, but I like the repeats, obviously I will cut it down to a little this was just for fun.

input please

After a few hours of playing and recording this is my final mixdown for this song, I need to start working on something people actually listen to now :haha:

If you are wondering why the beginning is so long... it's the mix point, I always extend the beginning and end of a song so when I mix it with another I have a larger area to do a nice clean blend ;).
