yeah I've got a 6Gb iPod mini and that's well enough for me.
Used to have a 256Mb USB MP3 stick and that fitted two or three albums which was more than enough for normal daily use.

with the 15GB of music in my iTunes library, plus the albums I physically own, i would feel uncomfortable with a 20GB iPod. I'm hoping to get a 40GB soon, to fit all my music comfortably plus the space to use it as a removable harddrive when I need.

well... if you own a larger iPod, there's no reason to get one of these tiny things at all.
i think it's for starters.

Could argue that this nano iPod saturates the market, but I can see a number of arguments which could make someone decide to go for an iPod or an iPod mini.
Ofcourse, if you have a 20gb ipod, then there's no reason to buy an iPod mini (unless the iPod's size and weight is something that bothers you)

so, when your library surpasses the 40GB mark, then what? 60GB? there isn't a player that i know of on the planet that can hold my entire library, so i don't see what the point is to try and carry it.
@ridda: 4GB Flash drive, 1.5 ounces, color screen - that's a ripoff? you're delusional.

dont forget this is apple (super-inflated retail vs production cost)
that's bullshit....when you had comparable products from Zen or Rio, they were roughly the same price. And like Juggs said, they have better build quality.
