I'd make sure I had water, then food, then fire materials (probably be plenty of those though), then rubbing alcohol/medical supplies, then a gun if I didn't have one, then I would start looking for a way to get the hell out.
Fuck stealing electronics, lol. I'm not going to sit in a city full of roving gangs looking for a tv or a playstation.

id steal me the most exotic car i can find and put on the most expensive custom wheels. I then will find the 3 most prettiest dimes i can find and make them my slaves. Me and the prettiest of the 3 will speed to mexico at 230 MPH while getting a bj. The other two will convoy 2 18 wheelers full of stolen money, electronics, jewellery and all that other crap to my new mansion that ill buy.

I've been in three major earthquakes. The first one when I was a kid, we were evacuated for about four days, because an huge reservoir in the hills above our house has fissures in the earthworks holding it in. If it broke our house would have been covered. We left, took 4 days to drain it out, it didn't break lucky for us or we would have lost everything. That was in L.A.
Second earthquake was in San Francisco, our church was supposed to meet that night and I was in charge of the church that year, so I had to drive out there to see if anyone showed up and try to get them home, we had a lot of members who took the bus. Sure enough one member showed. I had to drive her home, and then get home myself. It was pitch black, the power was off everywhere, the only light was car headlights. There were gangs of young men roaming the streets drinking and vandalizing stuff. it sucked. I took the back streets home to keep out of that.
Third one was the worst, I wasn't in it, it was back in L.A. again and I drove down the next day to be with my mom and help her clean up all the broken shit. That was crazy, when I got to her house I opened the door and the floor of the whole house was covered with pottery and glass shards, the furniture was in the middle of the room. It looked like the earthquake shhok the house like a big maraca. My mom's feet were all cut up because the water heater broke and she forgot to put her shoes on beore she got out of bed to turn the water off. We just put ointment on the and bandaged them real good, all the local hospitals were damaged and without power. It was two or three weeks before they had drinkable water.
Disasters suck, period.
