The gas crisis for the average schmuck..meaning me and pro..

Post by jay1126 »

...bably you:

my daily driver is a sweeeeet 5.0 Saleen mustang, I would usually spend, $70 on gas on an average week, to use it. During this Katrina deal, in four days, I spent $120 at an anal raping 98 cents a liter.

my wife has ordered that said saleen mustang be sold with all due haste to purchase the gayest car EVER!! a toyota Prious or whatever.

my life has turned into a big pile of shit.

Try driving a bit slower and accelerate easier. I know it sucks to do, but it will save money and in turn might keep you the car

This reminds me of a question I have.
How far is your commute, Euros?

Mine is fairly short compared to my co-workers, around 14 miles each way. That's 28 miles round trip. I like biking, and I'd love to bike to work. But 30 miles a day aint gonna happen.

Currently, 250 metres though not for long as Im finishing that in 2-3 weeks.
Worst ever, 10 miles. And even then the bus was my most used method. If the weather was good I'd bike.
One job I moved to 4 miles near it and walked every and back day to it.

I biked a lot of days to college and it was only about 3 miles. For a skinny nerd kid with no stamina, that was quite hard to do.

I think nowadays I could manage a total of 15 miles a day if I pushed myself, but I think it'd take having no alternatives at all for me to do it.

it's about 13 kilometers to work for me, which I like to do by bike. 9 out of 10 times, I'm faster on my bike than the bums sitting in the trafficjams.

pussy.

2 options:

1. be a good boy, sell the car that you obviously love and buy something really shit, that will piss you off every time you drive it.

2. grow some balls, tell her to buy her own POS car and continue to be a man.

Just put that car into storage and just get a clunker for now, no need to give up your pride and joy.
