Better BF2 server....

Post by YourGrandpa »

We are now hosting with Trinity games and have a standard port.

Our new 32 port server is staying packed, good luck getting in.

If you know anyone thinking about renting a server, stay away from seemeplayme. They don't come up on the in game browser and they lag like a bitch. They may be the cheapest (now), but you get what you pay for.

Server name: Treasure Coast LAN
Server IP: 70.86.55.19:16567

Get in there....... :icon31:

Made some changes and reset the server.

Plenty of room now.

CLICK ME I'M A LINK TO A SERVER MONITOR!

I'll be stopping by of course :) I only see jpob and YourGrandpa though. No tmuch fun on a ranked server. Hehe.

I prefer the following link though. Shows more.

Yeah....

We just came on line today.

I had to make some changes and reset the server a couple of times.

That kind of emptied the place out.

Oh well, it'll be full tomorrow when everyone starts logging back on.

If you've got the horsepower to run it and are lucky enough not to catch all the crashes to the desktop, it's worth it.
When it runs right, it's a fantastic game.

I have no troubles with it. But they're suppose to be coming out with a patch soon.

I'm pissed at this game now. It doesn't support widescreen monitors.

Oh, it's the usual pub server stuff. No one wants to listen to orders, no one fixes the UAV or satellite trailers, or the artillery. Just camp the planes. I actually saw 6 people camping an Abrams spawn.
This was the first time I'd seen a team go so long without a commander. I took it twice, but got sick of it after hardly anyone listened.

I can make it fit my screen just fine without bars on the left and right, but it clips a good bit from the top and bottum of my screen. Plus if I mess with the FOV I get kicked from servers. It's 2005 ffs dice/EA, this game and all others should have widescreen support.

We usually play Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays around 8:00pm eastern. Get on then and play a few.

I found that if you do a scan and drive everyone nut with spotting troops by the commanders equipment, someone will respond.

I'll give you our teamspeak server addy if you want to hop on there too.
