The BFG... sorry, antimatter gun (WHY??) looks... Ok. Purple? No, come on, wheres the Green Quake 2 one? Why all the colour changes... It looks ok but i never saw any beams shooting off it like the Quake 2 one...
The Machinegun... Wow its a Mgun, haven't seen that before. The zooms cool but it may be to different for Q3 players. I can see the "NEWB!!!" comments spamming the console already because the zoom hurts more...
The Railgun... YAY! Lets take the best engine id have ever made, and give it an even uglier railtail than any previous Quake!!! Fucking hell, they could of at least kept it the same as the Quake 2 trail...? Is that so hard to do?
Rocket Launcher... Oh yeah this hasn't changed... Oh wait no it has. Once again, its a simple, dead easy thing to get it working the same as the Q3 one, but noooooooo... It looks a lot like the original doom RL, some kind of delay... PUMP.......WOOOSH instead of PUOOSH.
The level... WHY??? Yeah I can see it now, "We have a game that needs to draw as little onscreen as possible guys, so what map will we remake?" "I know! A space map which fucking sucked the first time around! YEH!!!
CTF... YAY, lets take a war torn world where everything is mashed together in a horrid way, and give you... bright glowing computer panel CTF flags... Wheres the torn and dirty cloth flags that would suit this world?
The skins... Fucking hell, if somebody ever made a cartoon based on a Star Trek Borg episode, THIS would be what it looks like... It just looks like a daft cartoon, the designs of the strogg are awful... And why bother adding gibs back in if your not going to give the gibs any bloody ffs?

Dude, that BFG looks pretty awesome to me. The original Doom BFG didn't shoot green beams either. Yeah, it's nothing fancy, but it looks about the same as the Quake 3 railgun. And remember, Quake 4 isn't done yet. Yes, but not everybody lives in a fucking barn. I spent half a grand on my PC at least to get games like Doom 3 and Quake 4 running 60FPS solid in Ultra 1280x1024, and it works a treat. I'm not about to turn down the detail i na new game. Plus not everybody runs Quake 3 MP in picmip 16 you retard.
