I've got the game, contrast, brightness tweaked so that everything isn't as dark as night on my CRT. The bastard is old but will have to do for a bit longer, but I've got a weird problem.
Everytime I try and watch streaming video, or just any kind of video through the above programs 90% is too dark to really make out what it is. BUT, it seems if I play a vid through something like Shareaza (filesharing program) the vid plays fine, and then I can watch it in Winamp fine without the darkness...but soon after it goes back to being dark.
My main question is what is making it do this...I know my monitor is the main problem by what is making it so sporadic?
Video through Winamp/WMP very dark.
Reinstall Codecs

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

yeah, that's what I'm having problems seeing. it's usually dark in that area and when it's a dark room to begin with I just see a hand flying back and forth.Mogul wrote:Use a vibrator next time.
Will try the reinstall bit though, been needing to fix a codec problem I've been having where most avi files play upside down. (makes quake vids a nice flick though
