Really? I brush every day, and still get them every so often? What is it Im missing, mouthwash? More flossing? More brushing? What causes them?

I heard stress can cause them - but you're right, i get one or two a year and they SUCK.

I don't know, I've never had one. I brush twice a day for 2 minutes and floss once. No mouthwash.

Mouthwash is pretty useless unless you get a chlorhexidine gluconate based product - the supermarket stuff makes no difference.

Dunno what causes them though.

There is medicine you can get for it OTC, its a kind of liquid you put on the inside of your mouth that numbs the area for a few hours

Oragel works - but be careful, you can numb your whole mouth pretty easily!

My gf's mom gave me some creme for it once and I almost vomitted instantly. I read the label and it was for external use only on cold soars. The dumbass still tells me I'm wrong even after showing her too. Here argument was that all mouth medications say external use only :icon27:
