needed someone to manage my money I hired Shelly
But Shelly started talkin to much so she died early

haha I get it, he listens to Hip Hop, the most popular music on the planet, so he must want to be a nigger.
niggers listen to rap, and rap is nigger-only music, so if you listen to those coon-tunes, you must be trying to identify and blend in with their culture. There's no possible way you could just enjoy listening to catchy hooks and well produced beats.

So why post them if you had no knowledge of their origin? How do you know it wasn't some shit verse from an amateur MC? Do you want me to find a 5 year old, give him some sticks and drums, and then dismiss the entire art of drumming based entirely on the racket he caused when I let him randomly bang a symbol for ten minutes?DRuM wrote:I'd be ashamed to know who those lyrics were by.Keep It Real wrote:Half of a wack verse from Juvenile, you really taught me a thing or twoDRuM wrote:

Lol, are you seriously trying to start an argument with me comparing the art of the drummer with the art of the rapper? Anyone can tell the difference between a 5 year old banging drums and a drummer with skill. Hardly anyone can tell the difference between an amateur MC and a professional one. Btw, it's cymbals. :icon1:sys0p wrote:So why post them if you had no knowledge of their origin? How do you know it wasn't some shit verse from an amateur MC? You can't tell the difference between Bow Wow and Nas? Jay-Z and Gucci Mane? No, I'm pointing out that you trying to discredit hip hop in it's entirety based on a single shit verse was a fucking stupid way to try and win an argument.DRuM wrote:Lol, are you seriously trying to start an argument with me comparing the art of the drummer with the art of the rapper? Hmm. I think there's a difference in trying to discredit the whole of hip hop, and simply taking the piss out of BT for being a wigga.sys0p wrote:No, I'm pointing out that you trying to discredit hip hop in it's entirety based on a single shit verse was a fucking stupid way to try and win an argument.DRuM wrote:Lol, are you seriously trying to start an argument with me comparing the art of the drummer with the art of the rapper? Making up words isnt poetry.. Its making up words and passing them off as rhymes..Keep It Real wrote:A rap verse is just a 16 bar poem that somebody raps, so saying no one can tell the difference between a good one and a bad one is like saying no one call tell the difference between a sonnet by Shakespeare and a couple of lines that rhyme on a depressed girl's net journal

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

Amateur MC " I'm gonna fuck up dem nigga hoes and bitches!"
Professional MC "I'm gonna fuck up dem nigga hoes and bitches!"
There's no difference, since you're using hip hop's biggest, most out-dated stereotypes to do it. You're making fun of hip hop in order to make fun of him. Fucking africans were playing bongo drums in the jungle before white people were painting on walls in caves. You're more of a wigger than he is.DRuM wrote:Hmm. Argument over. Drum just destroyed you with his extensive knowledge of lyricism.DRuM wrote:It's all the same.Keep It Real wrote:A rap verse is just a 16 bar poem that somebody raps, so saying no one can tell the difference between a good one and a bad one is like saying no one call tell the difference between a sonnet by Shakespeare and a couple of lines that rhyme on a depressed girl's net journal

If it's a creative use of making up words then it could be described as poetic. If its not then you classify it under bad poetry. That's the dumbest thing I've heard. Changing a small thing of something doesn't make it a different thing, there isn't a standard of creativity or of using original lyrics in a poem. Its called poetry for what it does, not because of the components that make up the poem.SOAPboy wrote:Making up words isnt poetry..
