wow, they're making a real movie out of this? I wonder if they keep the ending from the series, that was pretty far out.

(not near as bad as the reviews imo) nice mix of action/(little comedy) And god damn is Jessica HAWT.

Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo 6/10

Had a few seconds of some nice b00bs, some good laughs...and I learnt what space cake was!
Dukes of Hazzard and Deuce Bigalow? :olo:

bad luck, f@ggot :olo:

God that looks horrible. Fucking Americans wouldn't know what to do with a piece of art if it was paint by numbers.

Man. I was hoping this would be done well when I saw the posters.

They didn't try to recreate any of the actual environment from the original series, which was the entire atmosphere of the story. :icon27:

And her costume is a cheap cotton-looking jumpsuit with holes in it?

I like Charlize Theron, and I wanted to see this, but after seeing the trailer I probably won't.

Damn. Didn't know this was gonna be movie. Very cool =) Charlize Theron is very good. I hadn't heard of Monster when I saw it, took some time before I realized it was actually her playing ;)

Ahhh Monster. That movie was so fucking disturbing. But it definitely made an impression on me, and I have to respect how unforgiving and just plain real it was.

But I almost want to puke when I remember that scene with her in the back seat of the car. :tear:

Why does Trevor have brown hair now? :/

But anyway, I actually enjoyed the trailer. I can see lots of tie-ins, stylistically, with the cartoons. But, as one might expect, the story is going to be so fleshed out, I bet, that the characters will just lose all the mystery that made them just incredible in the cartoon version.

Oh well. I'm glad they're making this. I've been waiting for like ten years now.
This line only remake is total rubbish I've ever seen!!! Fuck off!!! --CZghost

The best part was how she died at the end of the cartoons. It was like all fucked up.

Was it something like needing a cure for the toxic lake that was flooding in the base? She just missed curing the toxin and Trevor got away... or something like that?

looks okay enough.

visually on par with an episode of farscape and has a couple of cast members that have been in every 'meh, future' film since about '92.

I can hardly remember any of them. I think all of the episodes started like the last one never happened. she ended up dying in all of them.

The last episode was pretty trippy, with the "aliens" and the time capsule and all that.

Well, there are two versions of Aeon Flux episodes. There are the Liquid TV ones, which were short. And then she got her own series and 30 minute timeslot.

Aeon dies in every single one of the short films, but in the series episodes, she only dies in one, as I recall. She gets suspended in some kind of gel or liquid.
