I finally got it today

Post by andyman »

I ordered this car on March 1st and picked it up at the dealer today. Every option that was available at the time is on it, and it is really really fast. I got up to 130mph today before I caught up to traffic and had to slow down.

Never been a fan of mustangs, too cheap looking and common. But I guess a Mustang is ok, if it's all you can afford. :icon31:

So much for being gentle on the engine in the first 500 miles...

I was going to try and be soft on it, but as soon as I sat down I couldn't help it.

It'll be fine :D

The new Mustang is one of the very few 60's/70's-retro-styled cars that actually looks good.
:icon14:

Another example which imo turned out very well is the VW Microbus. Sadly the project was cancelled. :tear:

Nice, I've heard they run 13.8 stock, thats pretty quick! Although I don't like the look of the '05 stangs, its a good car and its pretty cheap for what it offers. I'd prefer an RSX-S though.

I just saw... automatic :icon13:

Killer man, I love the new Mustangs -- they're the first ones I've liked since the 60's models.

Almost wish I had one myself. :icon14:

Seriously man, why not the stick? Just hate them in traffic? Can't drive them?

You're going to have that front fascia torn to fuck if you don't park it better :)

Nice ride though.

The drive by wire isn't tragic, it knows when you punch it and when you just wanna quick little boost. From a stop it'll squeal for about 2 seconds and by the time i slow down, the seatbelt is real tight fromme being pushed back into the seat :D

In the next year I want to install a:

Supercharger
Different exhaust
Lowering Springs
Different wheels/tires (this will be last)
And a different front bumper (maybe a new hood too, depends on what is available when the supercharger gets dropped in)

I got an auto because I have to drive 2 hours in rush hour every day. I miss having a stick though. In retrospect I could have dealt with it to have the control back.

Driving a manual is nothing. All you have to do is condition your leg to get used to the clutch.
