But yeah, i dunno what to make of this... Once again it seems liek a fucking awesome intro, and then, same old gameplay Even the way the strogg just fly 17miles away after you kill them is from Doom 3 (Which i hoped was fixed).
I think i've seen this movie, but ill download again anyways. There are a few movies that show the start of the game, one that starts in that trench and ends around the corner, and one that has you wake up after crashing and to go see the medic to get healed etc.
This movie is 29 minutes long. Starts with Todd talking, then he introduces tim willits and leaves the stage. The game starts from the very beginning credits and all the intro scenes. Then the gameplay starts with the marine and pistol shooting, and a few characters talking to him. Still watching it, and it looks great. So, I'm not sure that you guys have seen this.
You've seen all that movie before including timwillits playing it? Anyway, from those scenes, I think Q4 looks fucking outstanding. Looking forward to playing it.
in the version I got, the sound cut out half way, and the camera didnt catch the cinimatic ... the asshole kept the camera on the quakecon logo for some reason.
if you notice later in the vid willits sort of sidesteps the question regarding an MP test being released. i think they probably will release one. gamecloud's Q3 servers here in the US went down once quakecon started and the game you could play at qcon was incomplete, much like a demo.
I smell that a q4test will be out. Remember, I smelled it first.

I hope so but I don't think so because during the Q&A, Raven/id team said they already did testing and that quakecon was also like a test or something like that.

i'm just basing it on the fact that the last 2 big mp games they released (id) there were online tests. which brings up another point; do they really know how this game will play with various internet connections?
