No, still in the area around the catacombs.

Yeah it seems to work well as a combo, raising bone horrors from corpses and such.

I've got a decent weapon and the warrior bleed skills so I can slap on damage over time, take a few slices then suck their life away to replenish my own and then use the warriors heal ability should I get in too much of a sticky situation.

Well i've been pretty heavily into WoW since it's launch but I've decided to take a break from that for awhile and well....guild wars was only 17 quid and I got to play as a hot goth chick so I couldn't really say no.

I haven't been on Guild Wars much anymore. Got back into D2 again with the new patch.

Don't go in expecting an MMORPG.

Regarding the game becoming boring quickly, I think that ANet's anti-bot farming and drop policy has a lot to do with this.
In order to cut down on bot exploitation, they've reduced drop rate on decent equipment to ridiculously low levels.
And if people don't get progressively better kit whilst playing an RPG, they quickly lose interest. I haven't had a gold drop on my main character for what feels like months.

Still, the combat is enjoyable and solid, the graphics are fantastic and the PvP is unique. Give it some time.

it gets boring fast....after getting to lvl20 with max weapon and armor there's not much left to look forward to
then the pvp gets kinda old

Not exactly.
There are new areas being released in an update soon ("Summer" apparently), but the expansion is planned for next year.

Might regain interest then. I just don't like the way they handle the items, like Mat was saying. I also hate how hard it is to level and the fact that you can only be level 20. It's more rewarding to have a system like Diablo 2 where you can quickly hit a decent level but it still takes time to break over 80. There should be more monsters and they should be weaker, I hate fighting 3 monsters for 5 minutes to gain like 60 exp. And running to area's that you can't teleport to is a bitch!

The game has a really bad loot system. Nothing you find is in any way interesting.

Yeah, trying to get excited about plant fibres doesn't really do it for me either...

Oh, and they tried to fix the economy recently by artificially reducing prices.
All this resulted in was all the rich players buying out everything of value, yet again raising the prices :icon27:

I've unlocked all the desert outposts and missions with Shaden. I'd like to get her ascended this week, if possible.
