i fought it for a long time.seza wrote:ipods are garbage. get a real mp3 player such as a RIO Carbon. take it from me because i'm always right.
BUT 60 gb...i can fit my whole CD collection on it. no need for my 5 disc changer at home or anywhere else i go. just make a playlist and bam. i didnt really buy it as a portable player.
i never looked into any other alternatives but i got a $100 off coupon from my credit card company whcihc brought it down to $299, same as a 3rd gen 20GB.

LOL! You looked at one pair of faded (faded, not stonewashed, you stuck in the 80s dumbass), and you've got my whole life figured out? Make a couple assumptions about me why don't you, it might make your retarded argument go a little smoother. And I'm far from riled up, pointing out that you're a dumbfuck that thinks he cooler than liquid nitrogen is rather entertaining.prince1000 wrote:im basing all this off your stone washed wearing ass picture you posted. and you have a moustache and you clearly are very easy to rile up. how is that taking anything seriously??
and actually, uhh different headphones and i never take the ipod out when im wearing it outside, it's stashed. secondly, if you don't look like a fucking tourist or don't belong wherever it is you are *SURPRISE* noone fucks with you. try it, it works...
Now let me get this straight, you want to use you iPod to look at maps, but you won't take it out of it's super-secret, totally non-touristy hiding place? Fuck man, x-ray vision must be awesome.
Oh, and you know I'd look like a tourist because...?

i can understand the storage part of it to a degree. other than that though..i cannot think of any other reason to get an ipod over a 'competing' RIO. unless to be fashionably keeping up with the joneses is your aimprince1000 wrote:i fought it for a long time.seza wrote:ipods are garbage. get a real mp3 player such as a RIO Carbon. take it from me because i'm always right.
