Seeing I'm not in a "profession" yet, based on my IQ it does kind of relate to the professions I have in mind. Factory packer is not among them.

But IQ isn't everything to success at a job:

I really don't mean to be obtuse, but why is this racist? The only reason I can think of is the possible bias of one IQ test or another (assuming of course this quote only refers to developed nations). But you could easily say "success likely develops from: 1/3 innate intelligence, 1/3 social skills, 1/3 ambition" and it would be an accurate statement, don't you think?

I will not fuck off as I really want an explantion of why that statement, in and of itself, isn't true. Say you're a poor minority living in the projects or in a foster home or a shelter. You are required by law to attend school for FREE. So if you take the schooling, mix it in w/ your innate intelligence and ambition you should be able to overcome your hardships, right? (And don't give me shit about the extra problems of growing up poor. I grew up poor and graduated from college.)

There is no naturally occurring correlation between IQ and knowledge.

An example of this are Mexican grease monkeys. They drop out of high school in order to work at their uncle's shop, pimping rides, and have an impeccable understanding of the inner workings of automobiles, however cannot multiply any numbers in their heads unless they're single digit numbers.
