Anyone mess with Mamba CMS? Know any good Mamba template sites?

mambo? and no, soz. the only ones i've ever had to look at have been linked from the main site.

Just look around the mambo server site. There are plenty there. I tested like 40 or something before I found one I liked though. And like the idiot that I am, I forgot about Opera and IE (doh), so when it was all done, I checked, and it looked fucked up. So I'm creating my own.

You really need to roll your own template to get the fullest out of it, IMO. All of the available ones won't give you what you really want.

True. I want totally clean design with no stuff there that doesn't have a function. I thought I found one I could used until I got my own made, but it was messed up. Bad coding. And if I had used it anyways I probably wouldn't have started making my own ever

I think stripping a mambo server down until the layout is nothing but basic text and frames would be interesting. To see a full CMS system at work behind what presents itself as a really dry basic page (white background, black text, blue links, no images).

I might be crazy.

I have done that to find all the code I'm gonna have to make CSS for it. Just a very long page that works but isn't really good for browsing
