I probably will drive my car around a bit until it gets low. Then I might filled it up again, depending on how everything goes.

I was driving past a Shell station today that was selling premium for $3.07. Crying shame, really.

In Iowa we get state subsidies because our farmers produce ethanol from corn. Owned. Iowa may not be much to look at, but when the shit hits the fan and the California falls in the ocean, everyone is going to want to move here.

Farms consume quite a bit of energy. Wouldn't it be unfortunate if that energy was wasted on a likely fruitless pursuit? edit: What problem are you referring to exactly? Pollution? Energy shortages? Government waste? They contribute to all of it.

Incredible how you yanks fuck up the entire middle east, make everybody except one state that produces no oil hate you, continually piss of the biggest supplier of the stuff in south america and still pay less for gas than the rest of the world.

Here in California, it's a full $1.00 more. I had to pay it too, as I was low yesterday.
