Firefox any problems...I have.

Post by Guest »

Good evening my friends.

I've just switch to my other computer to get datas I don't have in the other one.
Thing is, I tried firefox after hearing of it in here for two weeks.
Everything I have done during that time and even some odd things that has nothing to do with it ask to be recovered with firefox.
I have disable it,even I think flushed it, But now I can't recover my files.
Do you understand what I mean...

Thanks a lot my friend for your reply.
Are you knew in here or I think it is the first time I've noticed you.
The thing is I tried firefox for two weeks.
I wasn't at ease with it so I erased it.
Since then, when I want to retrieve some files I did when I was using it, they tell me I Can't retrieve them. That I can understand in a way but some files that I had before hand I can't retrieve them because I would need firefox again.
Is it clearer now...Thanks
Pete

why did you delete it instead of just uninstalling it? and are you saying you 'accidentally' deleted other files while deleting firefox?

actually, that entire thing makes absolutely no sense, so I am sorry but I can't be of any help to you pete.

Just download Opera. It's better than firefox, and if you wish to do so you can support Opera by buying a version-long license.

$39 to use the best browser on the planet forever.

You can upgrade for free until the next major version. Opera updates aren't like Firefox daily bug fixes, so you won't be running from 1.0 to 1.5 in the course of a summer.

Unless some major things happen, Opera is on course to stay at version 8 until mid 2007.

That means free updates, and when 2007 hits, for $15 you get another few years.

If that doesn't interest you, then just use the best free browser on the planet, Opera with ads.

Opera Mini is coming to America. Watch out.

Yes because being open-source means that people are likely to find more bugs, as people can see the who program from the inside. Their aren't really many releases- unless you want to use nightly builds, most of the releases aren't really needed anyway.

Oh and Firefox costs $0 a year, pretty good deal really, open source > *.

Oh and you can also support the firefox project by Donating to the project.
