God.. RTCW test.. those were the fucking days. Back when quake3 was alive, as well as quake3world for that matter. I remember downloading the RTCW test in eigth grade and being like "HOLY SHIT GUYS YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THIS" the next day in gym class

nah that was released too early
it was quite a new concept, ofcourse, (the whole MP only thing), so it needed a lot of testing on a lot of different computers, but the early testing made for a rushed HUD, UI and itemmodels. whch they dare not change since the community doesnt like change.
hell, people were complaining when they changed the healthbubbles (some awesome creativity there, btw) from blue to gold
