Internet Warfare

Post by brisk »

Just a bit of website propaganda I came up with this afternoon whilst working on ideas to promote my website.

Anyone get the meaning behind this?

What context is it going to be shown in? That's pretty ambiguous and could have a few different connotations.

Property rights? Blogging? Actual war, with two soldiers and choosing one side over the other?

I interpret that as two guys on an internet forum fighting about something, imagining they have huge dicks. Or even maybe just a lone idiot that runs around trolling everyone, not even attempting to make an actual meaningful post. ;) My 2 cents.

Sorta right.

Its somewhat inspired by this forum actually. The bitmap images are basically a depiction of inter-geeks typing feverishly on their keyboards (no, its not a dick lol). Note the goofy look under their heads. The red eyes depict lack of sleep, anger, etc...

The binary text says "fuck" and "cunt" respectively.

Its a parody of people who take the internet too seriously. Almost like a virtual warground. The right side is of course http://www.puzl.net ;)

It borrows heavily from actual wartime propaganda. The irony is that you have to be a geek or spend too much time on the internet to actually decode the text, and understand the concept :p

That's pretty cool, what's the address to the binary translator?
