Sorry for the title, good way to get peoples attention..
ok so im playing quake 3 and i want to play online and it says i enter the battelfield and load the chat room on gamespy but it always seems to be just me talking...i dont reckon im the only one.. and when i enter the game i dont know how to talk i just push the key next to the one and start typing and it said i said that.. And no one ever replies or says anything to anyone how do i fix this problem is it something wrong with display or what

seriously, someone in there should be able to help you - but you might need to phrase your question a little better. sounds like gibberish so far.
and take a look at this thread:

which tells you where to get the latest version of q3 and the game browser, 'all seeing eye' which pisses on gamespy from such a great height that the piss has frozen into dirty great yellow javelins by the time it hits.
