MobiBlu "Cube" player

Post by rep »

I'm looking for an mp3 player to bring on bike rides because I don't fancy breaking an $300 iPod if and when I take a spill somewhere in the mountains.

I think I've found it. It's the same price as the iPod Shuffle, but isn't a piece of shit, like the Shuffle. I haven't found any bad reviews, and the only bad thing I can say about it is that it looks to be exclusive to Wal-Mart.com :\ I like staying away from that corporation whenever possible, but unfortunately they seem to have an exclusive contract with MobiBlu.

It comes with a nice protective accessory that also holds the player on the headphones, and since it's so light weight, you can just put headphones on, or earbuds in, and hang the player there around your neck with no worries.

I seem to remember someone posting this months ago when it was still a concept being featured on a gadget blog site. Now it's apparently out and selling well.

Probably because people see the quality OLED screen and have to buy it.

Wow, thats tiny. Can it actually drive a pair of decent earphones though? Its all very well having these small portable players, but if they sound like shit through your headphones, its useless.

how much storage capacity does it have? And it's memory based right, not with a harddrive like the ipod? (looks too small to have a harddrive)

512MB and 1GB models.

Horton, try to take pictures of things that aren't rectangular.

I really hate those mini mp3 players that look like USB drives.

That was on sale at Fry's Electronics a few months ago for $40. I was going to pick it up just for shits and giggles, but when I saw it I backed off.

i don't understand mp3/music players that only hold 512MB~1GB. My mate swears by his minidisc, but not being able to listen to what I want, right then would annoy me.

That thing rocks, its so small lol. Quite nice looking as well (i.e. not cheap and tacky like most cheaper MP3 players)

Good find.

Same..
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.
