Yeah, this episode screamed JFK or something to me. The stuff happening on Kobol wasn't particularly interesting, but the results of what happened on the Galactica will be interesting to watch unfold.

From the brief preview of next week, it seems Adama is going along with the whole martial law thing, too.

Battlestar is doomed.

It has the potential to break through into pop culture because it's such a good show and it's not just a good sci-fi show, but it's surrounded by to two shittiest TV shows, Stargate SG-1 which is like, "Missed the last eight years? Don't bother watching, then." And Stargate: Atlantis, which is like, "Looking for a fun alternative to Andromeda? We've taken SG-1, added a little bit of Star Trek: Voyager, and divided by a factor of Andromeda."

Don't rain on his parade. He's apparently satisfied with that, lol.

Insert two episodes of Starbuck making out with Pyramid ball guy, then he gets killed... And/or they're all cylons.

Who doesn't know the Doctor is a fucking cylon?

I didn't think anyone knew that, since she's a figment of his imagination...

Erm, oh, LOL. I read that as "fucking a cylon", not "a fucking cylon".

SG-1 is great. Season 9 is practically a new show anyway, so people should be able to get into it pretty quickly.

Atlantis is superb also. This weeks episode was very funny.

As for BG.. I caught up from the mini-series to yesterdays ep in about a week, and i'm really enjoying it so far. Its nice to know that three decent sci-fi shows await my download queue every saturday morning.

right on brisk. Friday night has become, well has been for a while now, my TV night. Id ont care whats going on in the world, i got sci fi night.

Stargate has been awesome since day one, if you cant pick up form the start you might be a lil lost, but hey, thats called story progression, if it wasnt like that then the haters would say the stories are stale and never change. Personaly i thought the introduction of the farscape cast and the andromeda cast was brilliant, really spiced it up and since i recently became a farscape appreciater, i was stoked when i saw the preview and been diggin it so far.

Atlantis i was sceptical about, but its turning out really good and the character development is coming along just fine. Its not as good as SG-1 IMHO but its solid and enjoyable and will be for a long time, infact i think itll just get better, cause thus far it has each week.

BSG is great. Its a lil too dramaish, but its awesome and will be around for a long time i think and ill be wathing it for a very long time. Its shaping up nice.

Right now, if you watch these shows, you will see many various sci fi enties mixed from show to show, its really fun for me to see like, MArcus from jerimiah, apear in sg1 as a jafa, to see that andromeda (sp?) chick in sg-1 now, to see that science dude ben from SG-1 apear in Riddic 2 and in atlantis, its just fun to see these familar and respected faces apear all over.

I guess its a lil more fun to someone into it as much as i am compared to someone who is just a casual on looker. You miss easter eggs if you arent, which might dimish the ejoyment.

BTW, i miss jerimiah, that show grew on me just as they canceled it :(

yea, 2 seasons worth. Its about how this virus wipes out the adults, leaving the kids of the world to fend for themselve. Kinda a lord of the flies thing i guess, but it was really a solid show. If you get the chance to download them, give it a shot. If you dig sci fi, you will probably dig it.

Would have figured scifi channel would have picked it up, would have thrived quite well i think.
