I took a racket sports class in college once. was great fun, ping pong, badminton, pickleball. i love all the racket sports. i played ping pong since i was able to see over the table. had the chance to play against a japanese olympic ping pong player once - but he had his way with me....although I did score a couple points. badminton is great fun. good way to work on your reflexes, lateral movement, etc. too.

Not sure what you are asking. Pickleball is kind of like playing a mix of ping pong and tennis. We played on indoor courts - hardwood. Use a wooden paddle and a plastic ball - kind of like a whiffle ball, it has holes in it. You can put all sorts of spin pon the ball, so it is like ping pong in that aspect - you play big topspin backhands, cut spin drop shots, hard topspin forehands, etc...but you also have the space to move around like in tennis more...
