and why dont fucking tourists understand that the BRIGHT RED PART of the street with PICTURES OF BIKES every TWENTY-FIVE FEET is a BIKE LANE
also, loads of bikes is typically dutch0. and i would think a city that has been around for 700 years has more cultural value than a city that was rebuilt 50 years ago
nah seriously. the touristy stuff of amsterdam is not very dutch. although the small customs still peek through if you know where to look for them (behaviour of waiters, etc).
