I heard that with some mobile phones you can upload all your data, phone numbers, etc, without having to plug the phone into a data cable. Something about a bluetooth receiver that plugs into a usb socket. Does the motorola V3 Razer do this? Or is it something you can buy that works with all bluetooth phones? I'd much rather have something like that because then I'm much more likely to be bothered to simply press a button and hey presto, instant phone number upload.
Bluetooth kicks butt on my older t610. remote for winamp (shows playlist, etc on phone), i can launch apps, sync, etc. pretty slick. i don't understand why more phones don't have bluetooth. slowpokes.

Most new ones do. I've got a k700i coming in the mail . Wanted the 750 for ms pro duo support but they cost way too much.
Stay away from Verizon Bluetooth phones (I've got a v710 and wishing I didn't). They're total shit. Disabled features.. not supporting PC connections.. etc. Fucking Verizon disabling features in order to get more coin.
Looks impressive juggy, all that stuff you can do wth winamp, etc. Nah but I just want the most basic dongle to just simply upload phone numbers. Reason being that everytime I get a phone stolen or misplace them, ( twice now) I lose all my contacts. Oh and I'll stay away from verizon phones.
I currently have a t610 which is great for bluetooth. Float's Mobile Agent ( http://fma.sourceforge.net/ ) lets you do what Jugg. says. As I have wireless headphones I can play music outside and control it via the phone .
It’s called Microsoft activesync. I use it on my PDA and smart phone. Plug the phone or PDA in with a cable or use Bluetooth and it copies all your contacts, emails, tasks and notes etc into outlook and visa versa.
Not sure about nokias and Motorola’s though.
Imagine having the 750 and then picking up a 1gb MS Pro Duo and bluetooth headset. It wouldn't have the storage space of an ipod but it would still kick its ass.
My Nokia 6230 comes with a 32 mb MMC card which I upgraded to a 256 mb card from http://www.crucial.com for $27 but I can go all the way up to 1 gb of storage for only $84. This is in conjunction with my 64k GSM chip.

Nice. I didn't do a ton of research when I got my new phone. I just knew I wanted a Sony Ericcson and couldn't afford a 750 .
I hate the way the Sony Ericsson is hard to read in the sunlight. My Nokia is a bit better, the camera has a WAY better resolution, and it does video as well. The only thing I don't like about my Nokia is that the faceplates scratch easy but they are easy to replace for $30. All in all, the Nokia 6230 has way more features and I only paid $150 for it with a contract renewal with my provider (Cingular Wireless)
Shit. That's why I hated my Siemens...couldn't see a damn thing out in the sun. Tmobile always has a bunch of shit phones so I picked up the 700 with a bluetooth headset on ebay for $182.
