Not closely, but I will. Lots of shit going on right now (I'm dealing with a dog I pulled off the street in the middle of traffic - trying to find its owner, which I don't think is going to happen - and its a very nice dog too...), and I'm not going to read it until I have the time to read it and think about it.
I will though.

Finally read it.ToxicBug wrote:I was going through my bookmarks looking for a torrent site and I found this article which I was telling you about a while ago in PM. I wonder what you think about it. The reason I'm posting this is that others might find it interesting too (its about bodybuilding).
I think it makes sense - and is a pretty logical approach - nothing I would really disagree with. She doesn't really get into the specifics about the total amount of protein you should have in a day - but I think she is spot on about the timing of your protein intake. I distinctly remember reading an article that was considered a bit groundbreaking talking about the benefits of taking in some protein BEFORE your workout. I think getting some protein before, and then some good carbs and some more protein after, are critical.
To be in a muscle building state, you need a posiitive nitrogen balance. To do that you need adequate protein. Due to the fact that it is a bit impractical to check your nitrogen balance all the time (I do believe there used to be some strips for doing this), I still think at least 1 g of protein per pound of bodyweight is what you should shoot for minimally. Some will say that is too much, and perhaps for some folks it is, but I know from experience that I made breakthrough strength and muscle gains when I finally forced myself to get at least that amount of protein each day.
