So your mother. And yours! :D
your opinion is also based on ignorance.
Well, I know that the ATi Radeon 9800Pro 128 is faster than the 256 one, so he very well could be right about the nVidia part.

It's not like you clowns would use the benefits of 256MB of vertex and texel space anyway since you all turn game settings on the lowest and blurriest possible presets. LOL.

"Leaves?!?! Grass? FUCK THAT. Gimme blurry. I'm retarded, and I can't cope with the fact that games are getting more realistic. Give me picmip 10 and no shadows!" - Idiots.

wtf are you babbling about? you don't need 256mb to run highest res, decent anisotropic and full dx9. fuck, i have a 128mb 6600GT and get all that plus 4xAA with no problem in HL2.

Yeah, like HL2 is a good benchmark for graphics quality.

 No shit.

I wonder what he gets in horrible FPS hogs like Joint Operations? (That's a vertex problem because their models are entirely too high poly. If those idiots were told to model a sheet of paper, they'd somehow construct it out of 40 polys. )

I got the PCIE ATI x700 for $200 US. Runs all the games I've thrown at it. No driver issues.

Foo wrote:I'd vote for the 6600 as well.

I've picked up a 256Mb SLi-ready model (XfX brand) because it was cheap and (a bit) future proof.

However if you're sitting on an AGP-slot motherboard, you can't go SLI. I would recommend a 6600 AGP or a 6800 if you can stretch to it. 256Mb is a luxury and I would say 128Mb is sufficient for any agp motherboard.

As for performance, no fauling it. It'll currently run anything I can throw at it at full whack without a problem.

6800GT

Nothing less at this point
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.
