Took a book at the library

It's called "taking chances, winning with probability" by John Haigh. I've been interested in probability for a while and we haven't covered it at school... So anyone read this?

I'm 18, the last math course I finished was cal 2. We did integration and series in it, nothing on probability. This is the last required course in my program (pure science) before I go to university, except for linear algebra. Cal 3 is option but I don't know if im gonna take it.
