Folks in other countries - is ephedrine legal there?

Post by tnf »

It's been outlawed for quite awhile here in teh states. Can you still get it where you are (ephedra or Mau Huang [sp?]).

Someone on some infomercial said something that was interesting today - ephedra is banned because they *think* it might have been involved in a few deaths. But cigarettes are still sold. Although the rest of the infomercial was bullshit, this is a simple observation to the power of money and its ability to influence policy makers.

I've seen it sold in a few locations during the ban

You can get ephedra tea in pharmacies, but the clerks treat you like a criminal when you ask for it.

Edit:
And I think you can't really compare ephedrine and cigarettes. Smoking 10 cigarettes back-to-back might make you feel nauseous, drinking 3 or 4 cups of ephedra tea in a row will make you feel like you're having a heart attack and may even give you one if you've got certain conditions. It's especially dangerous because you won't feel anything for the first hour or so.

more like 'herbal adrenaline'. (or natural speed)

And it can do a lot of good stuff, like help you studying, help you work out, help you lose weight, suppress allergies and asthma.

What bugs me is that the only reason it is banned is that you can make it into crystal meth, yet I think ephedrine might actually be more dangerous than amphetamines because of it's strong side effects.
But I've never tried amphetamines so I wouldn't know for sure.

it's very dangerous to use adrenaline in pure form, less if you don't inject it directly into veins, but still, not very good for your heart . You'll disturb the adrenergic ystem and deplete it. You'll feel very tired afterwards.

btw, ephedrine is the greek name for adrenaline, which is latin.

As for its use as a supplement for an energy boost, I think ephedrine worked great.

christ, i fucked up. had too many beers and wine. Only consolation is that it's also a sympaticomimeticum that works on the adrenergic system

Overdoing ephedrine will make you feel very shitty the next day. Tired, but with a constant 120+ heart rate.

I had a few negative effects with ephedrine during hard workouts in the summer even in an air conditioned gym. I remember a couple times starting to feel very, very warm, but not sweating at all - and my heart rate as also through the roof after a warmup set. But I was pretty cautious - when I felt stuff like that I didn't continue to exercise. it seems the ephedra related deaths in this country were due to people ignoring warning signs telling them to stop, get hydrated, and rest.

ephedra tea is very good for hay fever, but i can't even get the raw herb any more. The native americans and pioneers used to use it to kill their hunger when they didn't have enough food.

Yeah, it's illegal here, I've got some at the moment that I'll be taking at the end of my cycle with some Clen or T4

yea clen and ephedrine will complement each other well...just watch your heart rate..heh.

I used to drink a beverage called "Ripped Force" all the time. Was fantastic pre-workout.

When I done my first injection, my heart rate was in the high 80's for the rest of the day. Usually it's 58-62. Fucking crazy how much gear messes with your body. I'm 4 weeks in, and I've started getting hair on my belly which I never had before. I'm going ot wait until I start my PCT before I add the clen or eph.

I took some herbal shit with some ephedrine once i think. It was a weird experience in the sense that i didn't get tired at all no matter how hard i danced and there was this tingling sensation akin to being very nervous, only without the actual nervousness. It was a pretty good experience actually...

But my friend did as many as me, and he started vomiting on some people in the train on the way back - it was rather awful but i couldn't stop laughing...
