I'm on my parent's 56 ghey connection so I didn't bother checking in here very often.
I was deported from Mexico after blasting several people in a town bar over a game of pool...which I won. On my way into Canada I fisted the customs agent who liked it so much she let me into the country...even with the stolen weapons I found outside the Mexican bar....cause every Mexican bar has heavy weapons and spare grenades.
I read a few threads about violence in games. On one of my flights here I sat next to a dumb woman who blamed me for society's ills when I told her what I did for a living. She asked me how I felt "desensitizing kids to violence" and that she didn't like it that her 12 year old son was playing GTA SA. I asked her what her 12 year old was doing playing an adult game and she had no answer. She genuinely had no idea that it wasn't really for kids and she assumed (like most parents who don't pay attention) that all games were for "kids". I then said, "I make games for adults...if your kid is playing my game he shouldn't be and you should have read the box before you bought it....regardless of how much he whined for the game." She had no answer to that either. Thank god it was a short flight.
I never realized how much I missed Canada but I also never realized how many fuckin rednecks live here. It's sad to see that Canadians are generally just as stupid as yanks when it comes to world events and country music.
