Seriously guys, it's a movie based on a Computer game, so what do you really expect? It won't beat the Godfather in terms of atmosphere, acting quality and music.
But it can be fun to watch, steal and/or rip and watch it with your drunk friends.

Don't give us that. Sure its not going to be nominated for best film or anything, but it IS possible to make a game>to>film own.
All you have to do is VERY simple. Make it LOOK like the game. But people cant be arsed, and you get half arsed atempts like these.
Sure, the hell knight "looks" a little like him, but look how short he is? And the armor... WHAT ARMOR? They are all wearing black suits for gods sake? At least if there were all dressed in the standard green doom 3 armor they would of looked the part...

So what are you dribbling about?
Alien had a great design and they showed you the alien like 5 times, in brief flashes. Aliens worked because it was that same great design but all out war.
Doom sucks because they show you the suits full screen every 5 seconds in bright light, and they look zero like the games.

All I ever read from you is complain after complain and to be honest, I grow tired of it... even in real life.
Don't give me 'Teh film must look like teh game!'-approach because this never works. You know why? Because films are not games. Period. You know nothing about good looking games, you know even less about good-looking movies.
