I get 4000 emails a day, My server stay's quite busy. But that's ok I only get the ones I need.

I only recieved about 6-8 of them.
I think notification is on by default when you register.
Of course I always turn mine off.

Well, I didn't recieve them before last weekend, so if the server was down I guess it was on since I got my account back here and all of it got sent in one go
