ok so here's the deal. i've been looking (allbeit not too thoroughly) for some way to control my media over the network. here's my setup: i have a desktop on which i use itunes (i finally caved in) to play my music. usually i am using my laptop instead, which is a feet away from my desktop. so i'd like some way to control my music from my laptop. my inital thought was remote desktop, but in rd, it starts playing the music on the laptop which sucks cuz laptop speakers are pretty weak.
so any suggestions?
controlling music over network

This just uses the current logon to play with it- so you're not going to get the sound transfering to your PC.

aye. a company where i worked a few years back had a 'musiccomputer' on the floor which could be controlled by everybody through a winamp pluginPhoeniX wrote:oh :E. If you used Winamp it would be easier
