Can anyone recommend anything worth listening? Doesn't matter what.

Someone suggested Dredge a week or so back and I love 'em. To me they seem to have bit of Coldplay (that smooth light sound) mixed with some light distortion. And some very catchy beats

Sorry but it's Over
Catch Without Arms
Of the Room
Scissor Rock

Are the ones I can remember off the top of my head, but not much more. Any other bands close to their style?

Don't mind Zerofactor, he listens to shit.

Check out Neil Young, Delerium, Death Cab For Cutie, Fountains of Wayne, Simon & Garfunkel, the new Coldplay album's not bad either

Also, there is a band near where I live that is doing pretty well for thereselves. You can download their cd for free here. Nothing hardcore rock or anything but they have some nice tunes as well, to me it's one of those few cds where you can start playing it and not have to worry with pressing "next" every few songs.

edit: btw, they are called Far Star.

Massive Attack.

The album Mezzanine is fantastic. 100th Window is also very good, but in general, just about all their music is awsome =)

Sorry Sliver, some people like to listen to music that's exciting. Oh and cool too, did I mention that? Nope, well now I did. :)

oooh, exciting and cool. The words of a true connoisseur. Aerials is the only song they've made that i've heard that doesn't suck (i actually like it a fair bit).

Do you like Fear Factory too? :) :) :)

Cool... Those are some of their more mellow songs, but still good ones. If you can, you should try to get Lechium, Same Ol' Road, The Canyon Behind Her, Ode to the Sun, Bug Eyes, and Hungover on a Tuesday, to name a few. Those are some of my favorites.

I can't really think of any other similar bands, but that's one of the reasons I like them -- they're unlike anyone else out there..

don't listen to zerofactor, he assumes that if you don't like SOAD, that you don't listen to "exciting" music.

Well for some reason, these sound lame to me, and I've heard Coldplay, not that great.
