Terror attacks in Egypt - 36+ killed

Post by tnf »

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8671549/

At least 45 killed in Egyptian resort blasts
Security officials say about 200 wounded in bombings in Red Sea area

This is just getting ri-goddamned-diculous.

Solutions anyone?

Funny - when the attacks hit London, it was on the news nonstop. There has been one small mention of it on the news here tonight, and all they said was "we'll have more on the terror attacks in Egypt."

I'm starting to feel a little terrorized.: No emoticon for this emotion:

This one might actually be related to Iraq. They killed that Egyptian diplomat in Iraq a little bit ago, so it could be connected.

Terrorists....

Do you think they'll eventually run out of bodies to attach to bombs?

well-educated and responsible white people have decided that the lives of arabs don't matter as much as those of other white people, so we have to accept their judgement because they know what's best :dork:

and did you note your freudian slip in posting "at least 45" when the article says 75? you see, the rot has infected even you tnf :icon25:

Maybe, but part of that has to do with the fact that the media in the US and UK are totally wired and getting information out is easy. Most American news corporations have a London office, but I doubt many have one at the southern tip of the Sinai. I dont think the media would pass up another opportuity for ramming fear down our throats. If there was just one American at Sharm el-Sheikh, our media would go nuts, but without video, they don't have all the components necessary to make a story they can beat to death out of it.

Call me crazy, but if an Aljazeera reporter showed up on scene in the first hour with a camera crew, I dont think we're going to see that person on CNN or FOX.
