positive... this particular venue has "VIP Boxes" between the general seats and the stage.
I'm in one of the VIP boxes.
apparently there is even watriesses that bring you drinks and special parking... it should be pretty sweet. its like everything but a back stage pass.
I'm mega psyched...

i'll be in the highlighted section in the 100 level.

werd... I'm totally pumped, don't know what kind of shape i'll be in for work on friday.
but eh... whatever.... Black Sabbath, BLS, Maiden, Zombie etc... is an impossible show to say no to.
hmm... zakk still play for ozzy? or is he just going to be with BLS?

Having to wait through all those acts to hear Mudvayne would suck... Then again, you probably wouldn't even hear them because someone would 'mosh' hit you causing a ringing sound in your ears for a week.

A simple solution to that problem is to not listen to shitty bands, i.e. Mudvayne.

If she was truly metal, she'd fuck you DURING the show.

zakk only played with BLS... and they were kinda disappointing... they went on second, and only had a quick 20 min set. zakk did a great job of showmanship, but as a whole they didn't sound tight at all... pretty ho-hum.
Zombie however, was also in and out in 30 min... but did a fucking sweet show, wish he'd been on the good stage. the second stage had really shit sound, and was in gravel lot... was so fucking dusty you couldn't open your eyes.

mudvayne actually rocked really fucking hard, and despite having a stage setup that reminded me of a nazi rally... were the 2nd best performance of the day.

first of course being sabbath... fucking hell that was an awesome show. Fucking pure class.
Tony Iommi is fucking unbelieveable in person... he made zakk look like a hack. The curtin dropped @ 9:10, and the ownage didn't let up until 10:50.

If ozzfest '05 hits your town, go see it.

but man, i've never seen such a giant pile of white males in my life.
i saw THREE non-white people the entire day. (one asian woman, and two black dudes)
and the crowd was something like ~70% dudes.
allthough i must say i do like this new trend of chicks at summer shows wearing nothing but shorts and body paint. :icon14:

oh, and iron maiden was cheezy as hell.... made me want to be on coke and in 1983.

haha... well, they sounded good, had lots of energy, and i can't really complain about the music... if only they hadn't gone so overboard with the cheezball props.
Bonus points for being the only band to break stuff though.

better? ;)
