Problem with Gunbound

I know this should be in tech but I'm hoping feedback knows the answer. I checked the site but their help system is worthless.

I just installed the new client and it keeps telling me there is some kind of network error then shuts down. Do I need to open a port on my firewall or wtf?

Maybe try it without the firewall to test if that's the problem? (which it probably is)

The firewall is built into my dsl modem/router so I can't just disable it without an assload of effort.
