Conjunctivitis

Post by DRuM »

I appear to have it, in my left eye. Anyone had it before? Basically, the white of the eye looks bloodshot, and it burns a little, a bit like when you've had no sleep. Waking up, there's much more sleep in my eye, even covering the eyelashes. I'm taking some eye drops called brolene, and I 'think' it's helping. At least, it gives my eye relief for a little while. Other symptoms I have are occasional itching, and, the feeling of a grain of sand in my eye. If it hasn't cleared by sunday night, I'm gonna go to the doctor monday morning. Apparently, there's allergy based conjunctivitis, and viral conjuncitivis. If it's viral, then antibiotics don't work, the body has to fight it off. I believe it doesn't last for more than a week though.

Yeah I had it for a while and started using Brolene myself about a week ago, it looks like it's cleared up but I'm using the drops for a bit longer to make sure it's sorted completely. It stung like a bastard after wearing contact lenses.
