Well I just installed the new patch and the new ati drivers and my old time to join a game was about 6mins now its 28 sec..

Don't care what was fix I am very fuking happy now :icon30:

I want to pick the game up but TBH i don't like the idea of "loading" so much. I'm fine with laoding the game and the maps, but loading the "menu" is a tad retarded... Has this been fixed yet?

That should really be way down on your list of reasons not to get the game. It's a short delay, anyway.
I sincerely hope that EA will fix this game, and have no reason to think they won't. I just hate that it's plagued with glitches right out of the box.

I never bought the BF1942 expansions, they were shit, and the game was better without them. I bet the same will be true for BF2.
