Lots of ISPs block the default ports (6881-6889) nowadays. Switch to something in the 40,000-50,000 range - and remember to reconfigure your firewall and/or router too - and all should be well again.

I don't understand this stuff. If I get an NAT error does that mean the port is blocked?

Shouldn't windows firewall tell me if its blocking something? It is set to.

When I ran a shoutcast server, I switched it to 27960 after being hastled.

I really can't believe they shut me down for my own personal shoutcast server, with my own ripped CDs, with 2 listener slots available.

Nazis. I bet right next door there was some asshole downloading warez on Kazaa.

Yes.

Most routers function as a firewall too. So if you use one, make sure it's properly configured.
