Why are we selling this?

The NMX04-1A Prototype is only going up for sale to boost funding for the next phase of our research and development wherein we will build additional prototypes, possibly for Arena Fighting.

Surprised he's selling it, but I had read that he was funding that whole project himself. I posted a link to his site not too long ago, it's a damn cool project.

Yeah I've read up on this little project of his a couple times, it looks kinda neat but I can't see it being functional or even functioning whatsoever. I've yet to see any video of this thing in action but if it works that's kinda cool.

At this stage it's much more a proof of concept than anything else. I plan to focus on projects like this as I move farther in my career. He's going to need a power source with FAR greater power density to get any sort of efficient final product.
Great potential for a lot of applicatins, though.
