Anyone got a good set of nice smooth icons that dont require a twaty program to run? Or a link to a good site?
Cheers

On subject, though... I wish I could use the G.A.N.T. icon set. It's artistic, but too different for me to tolerate.

One of the tools that are on his site don't require an install, you just run the exe and switch what you like, but I've found it's quit buggy and crashed a lot.
You can also do it via explorer/folder options/file types, but I've found this to be a longer task and I once screwed up a file association or two doing it this way.
Also desktop right click/appearance/change icons (or whatever it's called)... will let you switch recycle bin and others, but not that many.

I like the large Icons from dzjepp's site, I set them to 128x128 in the registry, but it looked way to big on screen 72 x 72 seems nice on 1920 x 1200

Looks like WMP to me..Transient wrote:Nice little mp3 player thingy. Where might I find that?
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

If your serious it's Windows Media Player minimized as a toolbar. Just minimze WMP, Right click on the Taskbar > Toolbars > Windows Media Player

Donny, check these out and have a good browse:
http://www.customize.org
http://www.wincustomize.com/
Icon sets and windows themes that don't require any extra programs be running. Just use iconpackager 1-time to change the icons in one go, and apply the uxtheme.dll hack to windows to use themes.
Zero performance hit.

Oh, bleh. I thought maybe it was some sort of plugin thingy for Winamp. I don't like WMP, and never ever use it, which would explain why I didn't recognize it.Giraffe }{unter wrote:Transient wrote:Nice little mp3 player thingy. Where might I find that?
