In the UK cars cost a lot more than here.
OK add up the cost of all his parts bought anywhere in the world, and see if u can get cheaper than his asking price for the whole car.
Modifying a car is not an inverstment, you always lose at least 80% of how much you spent on the mods. For that car $17K would be much more reasonable.
i guess that explains why u get the cars cheaper than in europe.
either way if u just want a car, its a fucking ripoff
but if you were looking at buying a golf and tuning it, its probably a lot cheaper than it would cost you to do it yourself.

agreed. anything apart from tried and tested minor modifications are a waste of money unless you plan to keep the car for a long time.
i wouldnt buy it, just cos i wouldnt trust it not to break, not knowing how hard the previous owner had driven his tuned up car.
